There are other activities at St Michael's, all with the intention of helping us to love and know God better, to love and serve one another and to build up God's kingdom of love, peace and justice here on earth.

As a congregation we seek to work as closely as possible with our fellow Christians of other traditions in the local community. We also seek to co-operate in community, pastoral and educational work with local schools, voluntary organisations and government agencies.

St Michael's is the most northerly charge in the Glasgow and Galloway Diocese. As a church with a congregational  family we worship and work together for the building up of God's kingdom.

We meet regularly for worship, which is our initial response to God for all He does for us. The Sunday and week day services are our offering of praise and prayer, our thanks to God for the world around us and for each other.

We believe that our most important act of worship is that which Our Lord gave us, the Holy Eucharist, when as a family we meet together to share in offering our lives to God, in receiving grace and strength from Him through His Word and Sacrament and in supporting and encouraging one another in the Christian life.

The Church is open daily and people are encouraged to go there whenever they wish to pray or simply to be quiet. As a Christian community we do not exist solely for ourselves - we wish to share with others those things we have discovered about God and His purposes for us and all people.
