Now that we’ve finished knitting or crocheting our hearts for the ‘Have a Heart’ project for the NHS, and we’re twiddling our thumbs for something to do, a next project pops up needing our support. Twiddle Muffs!
Twiddle Muffs, are thick, colourful, captivating, sensory therapy tools, which have bits and bobs attached to the inside and outside, designed to provide stimulation. Mostly used for patients with dementia, they are known to keep restless hands occupied, calm and warm.
Once you’ve knitted or crocheted and decorated it, please drop it off at St Michael’s Rectory in Helensburgh, or, if you are not able to do so, we’d be happy to collect your muff(s). Just drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange.
