What beautiful twiddle muffs we’ve received! Thank you so much to all who gave so generously of their time to knit/crochet muffs, they will be so appreciated. Please click through to view them all!
Now that we’ve finished knitting or crocheting our hearts for the ‘Have a Heart’ project for the NHS, and we’re twiddling our thumbs for something to do, a next project pops up needing our support. Twiddle Muffs!
Twiddle Muffs, are thick, colourful, captivating, sensory therapy tools, which have bits and bobs attached to the inside and outside, designed to provide stimulation. Mostly used for patients with dementia, they are known to keep restless hands occupied, calm and warm.
Once you’ve knitted or crocheted and decorated it, please drop it off at St Michael’s Rectory in Helensburgh, or, if you are not able to do so, we’d be happy to collect your muff(s). Just drop us an email at info@stmichaelhelensburgh.org.uk to arrange.

Thank you so much for linking to my crochet twiddle-muff pattern. My mum and I have loved making these and I am sure you will too. Such a fun and easy creative project to do, and a great way to use up scraps of wool or fabric and other odd bits and pieces you might have left over from other projects. Enjoy!
