[Watch] 2021 World Day of Prayer on Zoom

On Friday 5 March at 10.30 am over 30 people, including representatives from other local churches in the Helensburgh and Lomond area, joined the World Day of Prayer Service by Zoom. The service went very well and was recorded for our website (please scroll down to view the recording).

The material this year was written by the women of Vanuatu who told us of their paradise islands and about the terrible events of earthquakes, tsunamis and hurricanes that can overtake them. They stressed the need for better education as this is not mandatory in their country.

The sermon was given by the new MU Diocesan Chaplain – our very own Dom – who told us that while education is very important, our true rock is God.
