Thank you from The Cardross Scout Group
We are very grateful to the congregation of St Michael’s church for the gift
of a very nice Table Tennis Table!
We will make great use of it! The one we‘ve been using is so old it is falling apart.
Many thanks from The Cardross Scout Group.
Eco Congregation Thought for the Week
Rather than using the oven, try frying ingredients to reduce energy consumption. Food cooks quicker with only a little bit of oil (but don’t leave a frier unattended or it might catch fire!)
Crochet Every Day in November Challenge
The Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) have challenged crocheters across the nation (and further away!) to crochet every day in November to raise funds. Aliet Ray has taken up the call to crochet a warm winter cowl. Will you support her by donating a small amount towards her goal of £150.00 and perhaps be the winner of the Colours of Clynder Cowl?
Crochet Every Day website for more information.
Her JustGiving page is: Hooked in Clynder (please do leave your name to go into the draw for the cowl) or contact her on hookedinclynder@gmail.com for more information.
There is a list at the back of church for all those departed we wish to remember over the coming year, which will be read out at the All Souls’ Day service on Wednesday, 2 November.
