St Michael’s Annual General Meeting will take place after the 10:30 am service

Purpose is to elect Vestry members, Lay Representatives and to receive the Annual Accounts. Agenda and copies of the Trustees’ Annual.

Quiet Reflections at High Auchensail, Cardross

10:30am: 5th, 12th and 19th December Quiet Reflections on Advent at Rosemary Wilson’s, High Auchensail, (see notice board at back of church)


Tuesday, 6 December 2022 – Feast-day of Nicolas of Myra, Bishop, 4th Century

10:30am: Said Eucharist (1982 Rite) followed by refreshments

Thursday, 8 December 2022 – Mothers’ Union

10:30am: Mothers’ Union meets in the Upper Hall at St Michael’s with mulled wine and minced pies.


Friday, 9 December 2022 – Helensburgh Doran Choir

7:30am: at Helensburgh URC, Helensburgh Dorian Choir’s, ‘World of Christmas’ – tickets £10 / £8 at the door.

10:00am: Diocesan Advent Quiet Day on Zoom. Please see notice at the back of the church.

Sunday, 11 December 2022 – Stall in the Hall

The ‘Stall in the Hall’, after the 10:30am Services, will be in aid of the Glasgow City Mission.


Knit a St Michael’s Peace Angel (or two)

Many thanks to all who are knitting Angels. The first batch are available at the back of the church today! Please take one for your family & friends, they will be available during the whole month of December!

A Ukrainian lady, 60, is looking for a room under one of the schemes currently available in Scotland fo Ukrainians (give a room, government pays board).
