Feast-day of John and Charles Wesley, Evangelists and Hymn Writers, 1791 and 1788.

10:30am: Said Eucharist (1982 Rite) followed by refreshments in the Upper Hall

Wednesday, 24 May 2023 – Organ recital

3:00 to 4:00pm: Barbara Wenborn will be playing the organ in the church. Everyone is invited to listen, pray, wander around as you are inclined.

Sunday, 28 May 2023 – Pentecost

8:30am: Said Eucharist (1970 rite)

10:30am: Sung Eucharist (1982 Rite). Please join us for refreshments in the Upper Hall after the service.

The preacher is Robert Church, RN Chaplain. We will be joined at the 10:30am service by the Provost and Councillors, RN and others to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic. After our service a memorial will take place at the war memorial in Helensburgh.

2:30pm: Memorial service at the Rosneath Caravan Park at the American Memorial to Naval Personnel lost in the Battle.

6:30pm URC Communion Service at Helensburgh URC – all are invited to this service to wish Bungie every blessing as he retires (this will be his last service as the Minister).

09:30am: the Rambling Club will meet at St Michael’s to walk the Three Lochs Way near Arrochar.

3:00pm: Alison Mathew will be licensed as Priest-in-Charge of St Oswald’s, Kings Park, Glasgow.

Helensburgh and Lomond Food Bank

Helensburgh and Lomond Foodbank is looking for volunteers and a stock-administrator or co-administrator. See notices at the back of the Church.

Annual Scottish Pilgrimage
