Rambling Club

St Michael’s Rambling Club is back up and ‘running’ (walking). If you would like to join a walk we would love to have you along. No need to be a member of St Michael’s, everyone is welcome!

The leaders will give more details following a recce they do and try to cater for all casts. Queries about the individual walks to the Leader. Click on the link below to see the latest walk details:

Thursday, 28 October 2021 – Bodin Boo Ramble

Walks are usually on a Friday or Saturday (although not always, so keep an eye on this page for the latest details). They start outside St Michael’s Church, start times for individual walks next to the walk announcement.

The walks are graded although the most demanding ones will have an easier option available.

DEFINITIONS OF GRADES (these are estimations and may alter after a recce):-

Easy – Fairly flat with mostly good walking surface.
Medium/Moderate – Some ups and downs with tracks/paths; if there is no easy option slower walkers might go part way.
Hard – Hillwalking with significant ups and downs and/or distance. For whatever your challenge.

And a thought . . from Isaiah:

“Every valley shall be lifted up and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level”- So there’s hope for us all ! “
