The walk is approximately 2 miles in length.

Cardross to Craigendorn – April 2022
Saturday, 9 April 2022 – Cardross to Craigendorn
The next walk is on Saturday 9 April 2022, from Cardross to Craigendorn along the Red Road. For further details see below
Kindly note: the train times are due to change because of engineering works!
So please note that we will now meet at
Craigendoran Station at 0930 for the 0944 train to Cardross – updated sheet attached.
Our walk will start at Craigendoran Station from where we will take the train to Cardross and walk back to Craigendoran via the Red Road/Stoneymollan Road junction and choosing from three grades of walk – easy, medium and tough.
For the easy walk (purple) the hard work is getting up to the Red Road/Stoneymollan junction.
The medium (green) and tough (yellow) walks entail further rough uphill sections through the woods/heather which are fairly challenging.
Please see attached map and route details.
If you are taking coffee/tea and sandwiches/snacks there will be an opportunity to stop and enjoy the views (weather permitting).

Route description: Cardross to Cargendoran Station
Mugdock Country Park – February 2022
The next walk is on Saturday 12th February 2022, at Mugdock Country Park (info on Mugdock Country Park). We did a recce yesterday and the walk is mainly flat on good tracks, just a little muddy in places.
Please see attached map and route details.
Refreshments on completion haven’t been organised as it is a Saturday, so will be left to the individual. If you are taking coffee/tea and sandwiches/snacks there will be an opportunity to stop around the reservoirs.
