Flowers at St Michael’s

Throughout the church year, we have an excellent team of flower arrangers, whose talents add to the beauty of St. Michael’s.

At the major festivals, Easter, Harvest, and Christmas, volunteers help to decorate every corner of the church. Flowers and greenery are donated by members of the congregation and are gratefully appreciated. Anyone who would like help or donate, is welcome to contact Andrea at flowers@stmichaelhelensburgh.org.uk

Saturday, 4 June 2022 – between 9 am and 12 noon.

St Michael’s is planning a weekend of celebrations for the Jubilee and we have been asked to decorate the church for the weekend of Sunday 5th June.  It has been suggested that we could do a Flower Festival for the occasion, which sounds like a really good idea. If you’re happy to help with the flowers please let me know and I can put a list together.

At the 2017 Harvest Celebration an abundance of flowers and fruits filled the church with colour and fragrance. A lovely bread wheatsheaf, with a mouse clinging to the stalks, was baked and displayed on the altar.
